Lignoloc
Lignoloc is a brand of wooden nails developed by BECK Fastening Systems. These nails are made from compressed beech wood and are used as a sustainable alternative to metal fasteners in timber construction.
What is LIGNOLOC?
The With LIGNOLOC® nail it is possible to connect wood to wood with wood in a process that “fuses” timber together. When driven into wood with high-velocity pneumatic tools, the heat generated causes the wood fibers to bond with the surrounding material. This creates a strong, durable connection without the need for adhesives or screws.

Easier to recycle than metal-fastened timber products, as wooden nails can be processed along with the timber at the end of its life.
LIGNOLOC is used in Woodbloc solid timber systems and can also be applied to furniture, interiors, cladding and other timber construction applications.
